Advancing Pharmacy Practice and Healthcare Advocacy
With sixteen years of extensive pharmacy experience across academia, media, inpatient, oncology, community, and corporate pharmacy, Dr. Garling currently serves as the communications liaison and Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy. Over the last six years, she has actively participated in over forty local and national media events and testified twice before the United States Congress House Ways and Means Committee on medical access and telehealth bills. Beyond teaching a broad range of pharmacy topics, including substance use and professional development, Dr. Garling has been actively involved in community-based research, securing over $40,000 in funding and regularly publishing in trade publications. She holds leadership positions in several organizations, contributing significantly to advancing pharmacy practice and healthcare advocacy initiatives.
